Guest guest
Pam, Usually when one suffers from Pancreatitis, it is common for a person's body to become defficient in Magnesium and Potassium. Decreased potassium (found in Vitamin K I believe) can contribute to cramps. If your husband isn't on blood thinners, it couldn't harm to try and increase his potassium levels naturally. I know Spinach is very good for this, as well as other leafy green vegetables. Of course this is only a guess and a healthy way to see if that can help somewhat. I unfortunately have suffered from legs cramping constantly because I am on bloodthinners and can't take much vitamin K, but after not wanting to put up with the cramping any longer, I started taking vitamin K supplements and just kept a close check on my coumadin (blood thinning agent) levels and adjusted it under my doctors' advice accordingly.
