Guest guest
Hi all...sorry that I haven't posted any sooner and sorry to cause any of you to worry. I don't really understand why they didn't show any record of my staying, because we got to the North Tower around 10:30AM and they took me back around 2:30PM on Wednesday and then we were released on Thursday around 5PM. We came straight through that night which put us getting home around 12AM Friday morning. Needless to say, I was very tired and have been feeling like sludge since. Dr.Cotton said that everything looked good...sphincterotomy cut was fine and all...he did put in a metal stent this time and ran a CT scan. He told us that he didn't see anything that would make my levels abnormal or cause the pain, so he's thinking that there might be another problem going on in which the pancreatitis is just a side effect. He really didn't say what he planned on doing to discover and correct this problem other than the CT scan. I'm totally confused now and feel like we're back down to ground zero again. I have stayed nauceous and been hurting very bad since this ERCP, but really don't have any answers as to why. Does anyone know what could be wrong that would just happen to have pancreatitis as a side effect? I'm supposed to hear about the CT scan this week. If that shows up normal, I'm going to request exploritory surgery in an attempt to find out what's going on...a person just can't hurt like this for no reason, right? Pancreatic levels just can't be elevated sometimes, right? There has to be a reason, and I just pray that they'll get to the bottom of it. Well, I'm still not doing so good, so I'm going to go back to bed. Sorry that y'all worried and thanks for the concern. (((()))) thanks for calling! :0(---Kim S.
