Guest guest
Kim, I am so glad to hear you are o.k. I was getting worried. God bless you girl. And if it were me, I would want the exploratory surgery also. You had a long drive to go after all that! I am glad you made it! Take care! Guest guest
Kim, I'm glad to see that you are home and " safe and sound " . I know too that those darn ERCP's can cause awful pain for weeks after. I hope your pain diminishes quickly and that you feel better soon. Have you ever had manometry on your pancreatic duct during an ERCP? Just curious. When I finally had this done it was discovered that I have very high pressure in the pancreatic duct which causes me daily pain and flutuating enzyme levels. Just a thought. Guest guest
Kim, I'm so sorry that the stenting didn't stop the pain for you. Rest as much as you can. Unfortunately, there is just so much about the pancreas that we, as patients and the doctors don't know. I hope that the doctors are able to find out why you are still having pain and raised enzyme levels. Do you have any pain meds to help deal with the pain? Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
