- I suggest that you get your husband to a seminar or

convention asap. I think TACA is West Coast. Also, if you're not

bonding with your current DAN. Give it some time, make sure you keep

all labs and a diary of what you are doing.

Join the list chelatingkids2 - I think this is THE BEST group of

worrior mothers on the planet. You observe the treads, use it to

search for topics that fit your current issues. See the files, ask

question when in need. The list can help you keep moving forward.

You will also know when it time to change DAN's. I just did, and SO

GLAD!!!!

I just knew we weren't truly clicking. We did all the labs, got

through a year but I had some nagging issues that I tried to stuff.

But, reading the lists I was noticing...we didn't have a plan and

they seemed much more in touch than I was. Then, I went to the NAA

conference WITH MY HUSBAND in Nov. IT WAS HUGE! My husband was

supporting me, but if we had any financial issues - it would have

been totally up hill. Now, he TOTALLY backs everything.. I catch him

talking on the phone about toxic this, methylation that...

Get him to a conference... before the relationship deteriorates.

I hope you have done them. If not youneed to do so. We are using a

homeopathic MD DAN! So my experience isdifferent than yours.

Homepathic MDs cannot give injections. There is something in the

Borage oil that helps these kiddos. Stay with whatworks. If you need

more Omega 3, like I did, I added 1 tsp of Arctic CodLiver Oil -

Nordic Naturals Brand. Presto. Major changes. Perhaps you need to

speak with Dorfman www.kellydorfman.com she is aterrific

nutritionist who may be a good advocate as well for you and

yourhusband. I use Dorfman and DAN!Have him read Changing the

Course of Autism. I am glad to see your sence ofurgency for your

Everyone, I had a DAN visit today, and have a few questions. First

ofall, my son takes two capsules of the Nordic Naturals Complete

Omega 3-6-9'swith Borage oil each day. He was saying only a few

babble words before theOmegas, and I personally feel they're the

reason why he's able to speak atall. He still has issues with

intonation, prosidy and intelligibility aswell as motor planning

anightmare. This doctor seems smart and up with current information,

but myhusband DID NOT like him AT ALL. He's now (my husband)

DAN and I will dosomething to hurt him (our son). Yes, the DAN was

odd, but Sacramento seemsto be an absolute WASTELAND for DANs and

support of my husband, I feel VERY isolatedand alone (even more than

before). Also, since my husband has committedabsolutely NO TIME to

the research of anything (associated with my son'sillness), and he's

contributed NO TIME to my son's homework/therapy,etc.....I'm feeling

pretty mad! Anyway, don't know where I'm going with this " thirdly

stuff " , just probably needed to get it out. Does anyone do B12

injections and only Omega 3, or have any information onthem.....?I'll
