Guest guest
Did anyone else have gallstones that cause their problem with pancreatitis? I had gallbladder surgery last January the old way because I had hundreds of stones. So the surgeron did a transduodenal spinotuoplasty so if i had more stones they would just go on thru and not cause me any more problems. Which didn't work because i have had pancreatitis 4 times in the past year. 4 ercp and a mrcp. They finally found the problem, scar tissue at the transduodenal spinetuoplasty causing the spincer to be very tight and not allowing the pancrease to release it juices. So i am going to have surgery March 10th in Indianapolis with Dr Henry Pitt. He is going to do another transduodenal spinetuoplasty and transmpullary septotomy. Has anybody had this kind of surgery done before? Or has anybody else had Dr. Pitt before? Dr. Pitt says it should be about 3 hrs surgery and should be in the hospital about 7 to 10 days depending on how i do and if I get pancreatitis from the surgery. Sorry to be so long winded but getting nervous about having another surgery and an incsion. , KY
