unfortunately, there just aren't enough Pancreatic Specialists to around

for all of us with this disease. I'm a Kaiser HMO patient and the

nearest pancreatic specialist isn't a Kaiser doctor. So I see a GI who

consults with him about my treatment. Many other of us have to do

something similar for either insurance reasons or because the pancreatic

specialist just isn't close enough for them to see on a regular basis.
