Guest guest
In my daughters case, her whole problem began with the gall bladder and the surgery she had for it. She had been ill for several months and the Dr kept asking her if she had insurance to cover the surgery. At the time her husband had started a new job and was waiting for the insurance to go into effect. One day I was called over to her house and she was horribly sick and jaundised. I called the Dr. and told him,,,,his first words to me were " is her insurance in effect " . And yes at that time it was. She was put in the hospital and had emergency surgery. She nearly died then and was in 2 different hospitals for over a month after the surgery. That was the beginning of the end as far as her life was before all of this ever happened. It started the pancreatitis and now 7 years later, she is in so much pain and so ill and depressed that she will let no one into her life and will not leave the house. So to me the gallbladder was the begging of the end for her. I had gallbladder surgery, had 4 small incisions, and stayed overnight, came home and was up and out to work in a week. Not so with her, she was cut completely open, had drain tubes in her forever, got so weak she couldnt eat, talk, didnt know what was going on around her and nearly died. Sorry to ramble on so, but this is such a sore point with me and I can only wish it had been me instead of her. Jean, IN
