Guest guest
I for one had the gallbladder removed laproscopically and did just fine. Was back up and going in a week with no problems. 's gallbladder removal was the beginning of the end for her. After having the gallbladder removed, she immediately went into one thing after another, including pancreatitis. She was opened up all the way, it didnt make a difference how she had the surgery, I personally think she would have had pancreatitis anyway. The Dr let her bad gallbladder go too long with out surgery because he was waiting until her insurance went into effect. So much for the Dr's oath,,,all they think of is the money and getting it. I really feel strong on this subject. At times, I hate all doctors. I know it makes no sense, but until she had that gallbladder removed, she was leading an active and normal life and now has no life at all. I often think, why did I have the surgery and do fine and she ends up like she is. Why wasnt it me??? I am old,,,she is young. I have never come up with an answer and I wont. It is life and what is meant to be for one will be. Jean

Actually Jean, had the doc gone ahead and performed the surgery before her insurance went into effect herself would have been responsible for paying the fee to the hospital. He was actually doing her a favor by waiting for the insurance. Or at least he was trying to. My problems got much worse after having my gall bladder removed as well. However, I have, evidently, had pancreas problems all my life and had not been diagnosed. Even tho I had gone to several ER's over my life span and was told it was everything from arthritis to kidney stones. I hope feels better soon and comes up with a plan that will help her and her family. Warmly,
Guest guest
Has anyone using the sugar free candies with malitol, had problems with severe gastic upset and bloating? The last few times I have tried to use them, I have been miserable and actually started an attack with CP. Also, when the pain and the severe bloating happen, do you all go on clear liquids until it passes. My lipase is 840 yesterday. Better than 6000 but still elevated. Please let me know what you all recommend. I have been trying to get off the sugar because I am insulin resistant. I have tried everything and my doctor says that I have to detox myself or I am headed for trouble. I have overcome so many things with my Cystic Fibrosis and CP, but this is a booger. The minute I take one piece of candy, it's a binge. Also, these candies have way too much of the wrong fat, like coconut oil, high fructose corn syrup, palm oil, and all the others. I'm half tempted to buy that Sugar Addict's Total Recovery Program and see if it will help. Does anyone have any suggestions for kicking this habit? Help!!! The sugar lover, Ha Ha!.
