Guest guest
Dear Group, I have great news to report re myself, just came back from my new rheumy & I do not have scleroderma!! I do have Raynauds syndrome, and the other features I have can be attributed to my other auto-immune disease in the spine, DISH!!! So my chronic pancreatitis may be from viral, parasites, EBV virus, shigella or an allergy to sulfonimides, or I may never know, but it is not, repeat not, from Scleroderma ( which my Mother's father died of)......so we are celebrating tonite & the doc wants to put me in a new drug study for fibromyalgia.....why not? although, I'll check with my G.I. first. Anybody else in this group have fibromyalgia or EBV???? This is a big relief & load off my mind, just had to share.....love (the woman in ton that still dresses like an Eskimo)... Guest guest
That is really good news , I am so pleased for you. Scleroderma is a far cry from the other conditions and you have every reason to celebrate. I was positive for EBV but it never really made a difference. I have no sypmtoms whatsoever and was told I probably had it when I was a girl. Nothing to worry about was what I was told. Things really are looking up for you, and its about time. now maybe you will be able to join Heidi and I for lunch the next time. I will look forward to it. Warmly,
Guest guest
, congratulations on your good news. I can understand what a huge relief that is to you, even though they still don't know the reason for your CP...celebrate big, and now you can walk much lighter, knowing that weight has been lifted.
