HI Sandy!

How are you?

Well, with regard to your friend...what a dream! Here's a wish list!

Something which takes all the pain away, instantly, and which won't

either make one dizzy or dopey or lose its efficacy over time!

Something which would nullify the bad effects of alcohol on the

pancreas so that one could again have the occasional glass of wine.

(I miss that, especially when eating out with friends or family.)It

would have to somehow stop the secretion of that thick, sticky juice

from the pancreas which then causes so many problems.

We already have excellent enzyme preparations but improvements still

remain to be carried out. Ideal would be a preparation to mimic

exactly the digestive functions of the pancreas.

I'm not taking your friend's task lightly but I'm also not quite

sure what her exact brief is. Does she have to build on existing

medication or can she really let her imagination run riot? In other

words, is this supposed to be a realistic exercise? Possibly she has

to use ingredients which she already knows about in other

medications?

I can't wait to see what she comes up with! If only it could be a

pill to let me once again eat a plate of pasta with a rich

meat/tomato sauce and sprinkled with a good layer of parmesan, all

washed down with an excellent red wine!! (I know that's not a

particularly healthy meal anyway, but just once......!)

Seriously, I wish her luck with the project. Please let us know what

she decides to work on!

Take care!

Fliss (UK)
