Hej Sonja,

If the cinnamon is what you are craving, I don't see why it could hurt for you

to

have it in moderate proportions. The research does say it will help with

lowering blood glucose. And although you aren't diabetic, you may be on the

fringe a bit with your worsening chronic pancreatitis.

About that metallic taste in your mouth, I'm including a website that I found

that

makes reference to it down at the bottom of the page. Don't let what it says

alarm you, but if you could convince your doctors to do a CA-19-9 blood test, it

might be a good thing to eliminate any concerns.

I'm sorry that the doctor's there don't take your complaints seriously. It's so

difficult for anyone in this situation since it feels like you're always

fighting an

uphill battle, and that can be exhausting and spiritually deflating.

I hope that your cold weather soon ends and that you can look forward to a

warm and refreshing spring.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi
