Are those the only vitamins you take? I take Centrum and Citrical every day. " Fatigue is definitely a common complain among people with pancreatitis. It is unbelievable how exhausted I can be, and I do not work outside the house. There are times when I watch television and am amazed that people can actually get up, out of bed, shower, dress, eat, get in the car, drive to their destination, do an activity, and reverse it to get back home, and in bed. I sit there staring at the TV and say, “Man, how did they do that?†Half the time, it is all I can do to take a shower and dress. On other days, however, I am up and out, with the rest. Unfortunately, for the most part, there is no rhyme or reason to my energy level. There are, of course, some things that I do know that factor into my exhaustion. For example, sleep is very important, so if I do not have any sleep, I won’t be going anywhere that day. And, pain & nausea will keep me down. Sleep, pain, and nausea, in them selves, often have no rhyme or reason. This is what makes it impossible to make a commitment. Regarding nutritional supplements, I found that I do much better with liquid preparations. I have trouble breaking down the tablets and pills. Even the capsules often pass through undigested. I take a product called, “LiquiLifeâ„¢â€. It comes from an all-natural 100% vegetarian plant source. One ounce provides 190 total nutrients including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes, fruits and vegetables, amino acids, herbs, and other important accessory nutrients to your body. Guest guest
Karyn, Thanks so much for that info. I will definetely check it out. I have malabsorption issues due to my gastric bypass anyway and now with the pancreatitis worsening it is really taking it's toll. I am willing to try anything. I appreciate the fact that you know where I am coming from! It is so wonderful to talk to people who have lived in my shoes! Thanks again, Angie in SC " The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way.
