Guest guest
You are absolutely right Karyn, it is incredible and amazing. I am a living example that with persistence and a good doctor one can be " cured " of this disease. I had a LOT of surgeries before I had the total. It was a very difficult road. There were many times that I felt I could not go on and was so sick for so long that I thought death would be a better alternative. If it wasn't for the love of my family, the persistence of an excellent physician and the support of all the wonderful people of this board I would not be doing as well as I am. I cant begin to count how many times I had been helped by the other members of this board. Yes; I am not 100% yet, still have some hurdles to clear but I am better then I have been in a long time and am living and loving life. Thank you so much for bringing us all together. I have said many times on here as it is my personal motto, that Silver Linings Abound (its also the title to one of my better poems). There are always going to be dark clouds in our lives but the silver linings are always there, they may not be so easy to see at times, but they are there. Warmly, Chrissy
