Guest guest
Hi Cyndi....yes, it's Federal Employee's Disability Retirement however one of the mandates is the you have to file concurrently for Social Security Disability so I'm waiting to hear on that. The " caseworker " for that though really seems like he wants to help me and actually sent me to a psychiatrist as he saw the stuff in my file regarding my panic attacks and wanted to try and show that the pancreatic attacks are aggravating the panics attacks and vice versa. It's really not a stretch either because I have had worsening panic attacks of late...esp. when I feel a bad attack coming on. Mainly because of the fact that I know that even if I have to go to the ER (which I must say has been reduced dramatically since the two celiac blocks I've had about the only good theyve done at all is to keep the severity of the attacks under control..but I can tell when those are sort of " wearing off " because my attacks start to worsen almost two months to the day!! and that's the time requirement before my pain mgmt doc will do more.) I just now realized that neither the guy in DC who disapproved NOR the lawyer I just sent stuff to knows anything about the pain management doc I've been seeing....I need to let them know about that!! At any rate, I've got one good fight left in me I think and this is going to be it!! I WILL NOT give up!! The thing that kills me is that it's MY money that's gone into this anyway so why do they make it so hard to get what is your right to get anyway? BTW, I'm almost 48 (March 26th)...so while not young, I'm not too near " Regular " retirement age either. And I live in RI (my son lives in Charlotte, NC!!) take care and thanks for writing.. > > I see it's Federal, sorry guess I'm on too many drugs, butt either > way the key is to ddon'tt give up....mine took almost 3 years from > original filling to winning. in CHS,SC
