Guest guest
Talked to doc today...said that my amylase was around 200 and my lipase was normal. Took blood to run a sed rate and it came back very high...how high, I don't know. They happened to take an extra tube of blood (thank God...took 6 times to get any) and they are going to run further tests. Had no idea what a sed rate was, so I looked it up at WebMD and it said that it was a test where they checked for signs of inflamation and possible causes for high sedimentation rates were arthritis, autoimmune diseases (they thought maybe lupus), and some cancers. Do any of y'all know about sed rates? All of my symptoms are looking like Lupus, but we don't know yet. Y'all keep praying if you will, and I'll keep letting y'all know as I find anything out. I'm scheduling the appt. for my port placement tomorrow, so maybe that'll help take care of all that sticking. Hope y'all are having a good day, and I'll talk to you later.
