Guest guest
I wonder about the immune system also. still has low platelets and is even bleeding if he holds his baby on his arm too long.. He will watch the vessels start to pop and they'll cover his arm down to the top of his fingers. The doc says he needs to watch out for injuries - even a simple bump can cause severe bleeding because his platelets and blood counts are still low. Now they call and have him come back in for a mono test b because some of his counts - lymphocytes and something else were too high. He did and he does have mono. What next? They had also restart the oxycontin because the Duragesic patch didn't help his pain and he almost needed an ER visit. Luckily, we found an 80 mg oxy that he took and soon the pain was back under control. We are gathering records and x-rays to take to Cincinnati, but he is still having an ERCP soon with Dr. at U of M. H Have any of you got mono with pancreatitis, or low platelets, or hematuria and inability to urinate? He must have had a kidney infection because the antibiotics helped with the blood in his urine. I'm so confused. I wish I knew how to help him. I feel so bad for all of you. This is so unfair to go through. I look at him with his baby and he looks so sick. Makes me very sad.
