Guest guest
Well I had to call in sick to work yesterday my pain got the best of me. I believe now that one of the warning signs of an attack is sleepiness. It happened again this past week. Starting on Monday I had this feeling that something bad was going to happen. Tuesday I was so tired driving to work that I couldn't hardly stay awake. I barely made it through work and That night I started having the worst pain. I know I'm not suppose to do it but I took an extra oxycontin and got my heating pad. I didn't sleep very well but I felt better. I went to work only my pain started again so I got a heating pad and used it the rest of the day. When I got home Wed I couldn't stay awake any longer and went to bed at 8:30pm. I missed American Idol my favorite show right now. I woke up Thursday real nauseous and fatiqued that i called in sick. I took my phenergan and pain med and got my heating pad and I didn't wake up until 6pm last night. I feel real good today. My panc doc called Wed. pm and told me to go on a clear liquid diet so I have been on that but today I splurged and ate oatmeal for breakfast. Today at work is our monthly pitchin and there are alot of great things to eat but since I can't eat I grabbed my yummy jello from the fridge and decided to eat at my desk. Maybe if I tell myself that I am eating ham, pasta salad, pineapple upside down cake my jello will taste good. Whaddaya think? Sincerly, Patty Duley, Office Coordinator L.
