Guest guest
I have had pancreatitis since I was a little girl. I dont know too many 9 year olds that are drunks. However, there are a lot of alcoholics who dont get pancreatitis. Why some do and some do not is just not clear. I agree with you they chose to drink in the beginning. However, addiction is a disease. Irregardless if that addiction is to alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, ciggarettes and even foods for some. NOBODY DESERVES TO HAVE THIS DISEASE! That is the point. You are obviously very very angry, have a lot of hostility and lack compassion. I feel sorry for you for that, not because you now have pancreatitis. You are lashing out when you should be reaching out and that is sad.
Guest guest
Dave, I do not have pancreatitis due to alcoholism mine is ideopathic. But I would never condemn anyone who had it for any other reason. My father and brother are alcoholics and they quit. No one deserves to be ridiculed and this group is for support, not condemnation.
