Guest guest
Hi goutbuster, Thanks for your response. I went back to where I did read that in cases of severe acute pancreatitis, that the dead areas of the pancreas or the toxins that it gives off can actually cause other organs including the kidneys, lungs and even heart to shut down. In these cases the patient stays in the hospital awhile to maintain the organ function, and then remove the panc or parts of it. I read this on the USC Med center website I believe. The back " pain " that I feel, I guess I cant really call it pain, but its discomfort when I move a certain way, or breathe in deeply, near the center left of my back, straight through where I originally felt the burning discomfort on the frontside, under my left rib. Tonight I had a mild attack of something while I was in the theater watching " The Ring 2 " . It was one of the most bothersome type of " attacks " I get, which is a feeling like I am just shutting down, eminating from that area in the front of my abdomen under my rib... Kinda light nausea, a bit of fatigue and just a feeling of total discomfort. Another thing that happens lately, is that I feel feverish in my head on occasion, kind of like a radiating heat up through my neck when this occurs, but I check my temp and its usually normal. Sorry for being so all over the place, but I have gotten to the point where I just consider going to the ER sometimes and just living expectant of the worse. Coming here and getting varying opinions, and understanding how this condition affects the body will help me in the long run. Thanks again, Ian > > Hi Ian, > > The only thing that comes to mind off-hand.....
