Guest guest
Thank you for sharing what you had learned. Flaxsee oil never gave me any diahreea. Before I was diagnosed with cp I went to see a dermatologist because my hair had turned bright orange and I had these weird little blisters on my scald, also a funky rash on my neck and face. Well she ran some test and told me I had Kwashiorlor disease. You know its that malnurisment disease that you often see in the children of 3rd world countries. I had seen it first hand when I did the missionary work in Jamaica. Anyway, she told me to start taking vits and mins and alpha omega oils. Since the fish oils can give you nasty breathe she reccomended 2.5 grams of Flaxseed pills a day. It took a little while to see any results but it definetly helped with the hair issue and the steatorhorrea. I was sick as a dog and weak as a kitten ( I love animals..lol) so was willing to try anything to to make me feel better. I wasn't tolerating much in the way of food and had lost a lot of weight at that point. But the hair and skin issues where horrible. Who would think a middle aged, over weight, mother of three and a nurse would be malnurished. I was tho. How are you feeling? Has the sod settled down some for you yet? I know how hectic things are for you, but try to steal a little Lily time. I am doing well, very well actually. I am starting to really feel like my old obnoxious disgustinly perky self again. Billy picked up a used treadmill in great shape at the local Habitat for Humanity store, its like Goodwill. So I have been hitting that trying to do a mile every day at least. I can really feel it in my thighs and butt, was too sore today to actually do much on it. Its a great machine, really big and he practically stole it for $50. It was kind of loud so he oiled it up and it works like a charm. Guess some rich lady thought it was too loud and gave it away. To my great fortune, its probably a $400 treadmill. Its about time for me to have some good luck, huh. Now if I can just land that perfect job everything would be just great. I did finally write a resume all I need is an interview. Take care of yourself now and tell LInda I said hello. I dont know when I will need to go back to Cincy but will definetly let you know, they told me in May. I would love to see ya'll, and besides I adored staying at the Vernon Manor, was treated like a queen. Ya'll will just have to come and have dinner there with me, the food was fab and the place is gorgeous. Talk soon and keep in touch.
