Guest guest
Hi - I have my Ercp tomorrow (#5 for me) - at 8 am in Milwaukee. prayers appreciated.. I have a Plexus Block of the Pancreas on the 8th - I honestly don't know what they are doing except I think it is a nerve block that has something to do with the pancreas. If anyone has had this done, please let me know about your experience. Thanks Apparently I miscommunicated the other day. I honestly don't want to sit around and live on Social Security Disability (which I think is Welfare) - I honestly am trying to find a career that I can do with my new limitations and still support my family and not be a hinderance to my new employer, and still spend all this time running back and forth to hospitals and all. Sounds impossible, but there may be something out there. I'm open to ideas. But, honestly I've been too weak to work for over a year now. thanks so much for your support Rick
Guest guest
You will be in my prayers tomorrow that all goes well, Rick. The blocks can be very successful but dont last too long; acouple of months. but a person can have them every 3 months. Drop me a note when you are better from the ercp and I will tell you what I know. I know how you feel about SSI. I dont ever ever want to go on disability. I am trying very hard to find a job that I can do that is not too physically demanding. but then again I dont want to sit behind a desk all day crunching numbers. I am a RN. It still may be a little too soon for me just yet, but I am getting stronger. I know tho, that I will never be as strong as I once was. I know there must be something I can do. What line of work are you in? I'll be thinking about you and your family tomorrow and hope that all goes well. Please let us know how you are doing as soon as you are able. Warmly,
