oxalates & cranberry

When you get a kidney infx. or bladder infx. sometimes you are told to drink

some cranberry juice. It does have a little bit of oxalate in it but, what's

becoming clear to me is that Cranberry also has iodine in it. So, I think that

iodine can release or break up oxalates. Cranberry also has lots of other stuff

too. Jenn L

I have read nothing in BTVC about oxalates. Research being put forth on it is

very new,

unproven and may even be harmful. I rely on generous quantities of yogurt and

their

healing effect. I do know Vitamin K is a suggested protocol for oxalate issues

but is not

part of SCD and is dealt with elsewhere. I have cured every UTI with SCD legal

cranberry

juice since starting SCD . I take very few prescription drugs and none on a

regular basis.
