Guest guest
Dear Silvia: There's a good chance it could be the coconut oil and the yogurt. My daughter has eczema and had night terrors as a toddler. I remove dairy and it got better. We then tried SCD and her eczema almost disappeared unless she had dairy. We did SCD for a year straight and she could still not have dairy with out causing an outbreak. (I don't think we did the staging right with SCD, I could never get my 4 year old daughter to only eat cooked and peeled vegetables and fruit for an extended time so I think I introduced foods too early - she did to the intro for 3 days but we ate too many advanced foods after that but was otherwise compliant). We were struggling with the eczema when she ate SCD dairy up until a month ago. We have now done NAET and my daughter is not breaking out over SCD dairy. You have to clear the exact dairy she will be eating and certain vitamins and minerals before it works. Its pretty wonderful. I believe the NAET has worked so well for her because she has gotten so much healing on SCD. Also, I plan to stay on a restricted diet for a long time so the allergy does not come back. Just thought I would pass it along, that NAET can help (its also called Bioset I believe). Also, last year my daughter's eczema had a topical infection on the skin where her eczema outbreaks would occur (it looked like a bad case of eczema and would redden when she ate anything with honey or fruit). I tried everything and I could not get rid of it. Then finally I tried both antibiotic cream and antifungal at the same time and that has helped tremendously - it got rid of all signs of eczema unless she ate dairy. The infection came back and I tried an antibiotic cream that targets staph infection and it seemed to work well too. I am hoping it will not come back again this time I just stopped the regimen. Please feel free to contact me directly. I have tried everything with my daughter's eczema.
