Guest guest
Wow!! That's really strange about getting really sleepy right before a big attack ..that is EXACTLY what happens to me. Almost like the body knows it needs to rest to have more strength to fight!! It's gotten to the point now with me when I feel that incredibly, heavy....eyelids drooping, tiredness that I can now with surety predict an attack is coming. Is anyone else like this? Interesting.... Judy, just to answer your question - I, too, am like in that the hardest part of the day as far as the severity of the pain goes is starting about 4pm and then continuing on into the evening/night. But, also, like you I am sick(er) in the mornings. So, for me, it's pretty much all day every day now (With maybe one or if I'm really lucky (!) two days a week where I feel " normal " ) but the worst of it is in the morning and then again, starting about 4pm. I had to almost laugh the other day when the SSDI " case worker " guy called me and I was sitting in my usual position of on the couch with my heating pad on my stomach. He was calling me to tell me that I'd been disapproved for SSDI (I have also been disapproved for the Fed Gov't Employee's Retirement)- but during the course of the conversation he told me that the physician felt that I could do work that " required me not to be on my feet for more than 6 hrs per day. " I DID tell him that I found that to be an interesting statement seeing that I was doing what I am most always doing and that is sitting on the couch with my heating pad held fast to my stomach....boy oh boy!!! I just wish that some of these people (doctors included) could experience the awful, shall we say, " nuances " of this illness for oh, say a week. The bathroom horrors, the pain, the nausea, the eating difficulties, etc.,etc. - I think they'd be singing a different tune so to speak after just one week of this don't you? thanks and best wishes to you and your new addition!!
