Anyone who is going over this thread, I thought I would post my

email to one person who wrote interested in the cupcake birthday

idea and what recipes, ect I used. Also there is a different link

at the bottom to the company's direct site where you can choose from

some different themes. Hope someone finds this useful. :)

I made the bannana cake recipe that is in the Breaking the Vicious

Cycle book. (Pg 103 I think) I tried it out for some easter

cupcakes. They turned out really yummy. More like a muffin, but DS

doesn't care. I made the honey icing recipe also the back of the

book. It is a icing where you cook the honey like you are making

candy (like you would do with corn syrup) and when the honey gets to

the soft ball stage you mix it into some stiff egg whites. So

essentially you get a marshmellow cream type of icing. It isn't

typical buttercream frosting, but it is a good replacement I think.

And I've done marshmellow cream icing for typical recipes before. I

couldn't find a link to those recipes even on the SCD diet site or

Pecanbread, so hopefully you have the book and can look up the

recipes. If not, let me know and I'll type them up for you.

Our cupcake stand came on Friday and it looks like the company also

makes stands in other themes as well if you want. Here is a link to

the company's site with all the choices.

Have Fun!
