Guest guest
Meleah, This is too funny! I have been having trouble finding popsicle molds myself and finally ordered some from Amazon.com. There are several varieties to choose from and not too expensive. I am excited about trying the new healthy recipes that were posted a little while back with coconut milk, pears, and butternut squash. Do you have any other good recipes. Dana robin wrote: Kind of as an aside to this...does anyone know where to get popsicle molds aside from ordering them from a Tupperware consultant? I'd love to get some for making at home. Meleah Re: need help with the intro diet For some people, green beans and carrots are very hard to digest. French cut green beans are the best to try but even those can cause problems for some unless pureed. Try veggies like butternut squash, acorn squash, zuchinni sqaush, avocado. My boys love the butternut squash fries. I have seen posts where a parent peeled, cooked pears and butternut squash or zuchinni and mixed with coconut milk and frozen in popsicle molds. This should be very easy to digest and taste good. Hope this helps. wrote: So we seemed to be doing better and decided to introduce well cooked green beans. This was on Friday. The next day we went from 1-2 bm's/day to 6. The good news is that there still isn't any blood. But his bm's have mucus and are either the consistancy of the almond flour or just a murky film. Today is Monday and we are still having 6 bm's. There isn't much coming out. But he is also to the point where he doesn't want to eat because we aren't moving forward on the diet. We have been on the intro now for several weeks and he is sick of it. So the question is does anyone have any ideas on how to get him to eat? And the other question is do I take eggs back out of his diet? Do I wait until his bm's go back to 1-2 a day before I add something else again? Thanks again in advance. and Cole Dana and Garrett, 3 years old as of Mar 24 SCD 10 months Celiac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Guest guest
No, but I figured I can do a google search for popsicle recipes, and come up with some that can be made SCD legal even if they aren't originally. I'll let you know what I find. BTW, ultrasound went fine today. No twins, just one baby. Everything looks nice and healthy. Guest guest
Thanks for the update! Glad things went well and hope the rest of your pregnancy just progresses wonderfully! Someone else posted that they found popsicle molds at rite aid. Oh, well. I have already placed my order at Amazon after checking all over town. Hope you can find some easier than I did. I think some of these popsicle recipes that I have seen will be a great way to get some good nutrition in my boys and in a fun way! Guest guest
Can you tell me what section of the store I will find them in? I am afraid to say that our Target staff often is unknowledgeable about where to find items in their store. They send us on a goose chase all over the store, and we often leave without the item because we're tired of wandering here and there with our three children who are also tired of wandering around aimlessly. Guest guest
I saw them in the summer stuff area. There was also some popcycle syrup etc. That might help them. I just saw them yesterday. My mom has them. They are easy to work with for the juice/water mix. But I have yet to use them for anything else. I'm not sure if they are on the target site or not. :)Aimee Re: Popsicle mold - Meleah Thanks for the update! Glad things went well and hope the rest of your pregnancy just progresses wonderfully!
