I wanted to share a picture of my SCD shamrock cookies I made for our

family ST 's Day party.

If you click on the following link, it is the third picture down (and

yes, I know that Crohn's is spelled wrong). I just emailed my brother

and asked him to fix it.

http://www.mopedepot.com/events/patty2007.html

My picture is the 12th picture down. It's labeled " And shared ... "

My hubby, who does SCD, is the 15th picture down. It's labeled " He's

been there! "

I used one of the SCD cutout cookie recipes that I modified for Adam.

For icing, I did a recipe that originally used 1 T cinnamon instead of

peppermint.

Peppermint Icing

2 T coconut oil

4 T honey

and peppermint extract to taste

(I also used a few drops of green food color)

warm coconut oil and mix.

This keeps a long time in the fridge. Just warm before using to ice

something.

-Sharon,

wife of Adam- Crohn's 2004, SCD since June 2006

[And No, I'm not trying to advertise the moped shop. It's a family

business and since I have little computer skills, it's the only way I

know to show any pictures. :) And I had him link to the pecanbread

website.]
