Did you have previous surgeries on your pancreas? Do the doctors usually try other things first so the TP is a last resort or is it reasonable to assume someone as young as could have it done before he goes through years of pain? I forgot - where did y ou have yours done? Do you know if the doctors at Cincinnati have been doing this the longest? I am so glad you are having a normal life again. It must seem like a miracle. I feel that a miracle will have to help and it is killing me watching him so ill and trying so hard to be an active dad with his boys. Hope he gets to go for a consultation soon. His mono has backed up everything. Take care and stay healthy.
Guest guest
, I am 23 years old. The only previous things that I had done to my pancreas were ERCPs and stents placed in the ducts. There is more success reported by those who have not had previous surgery to the pancreas. I think that going for a TP/ICT is the best choice for me, and I am glad that I made it before it was too late. I had my surgery in Minnesota by Dr. Sutherland. Dr. Sutherland has done the surgery longer than the docs in Cinnci. He is the doctor who developed the surgery. Love, Crystal Galloway
