Guest guest
Fliss, So glad to hear he is doing so well! I have lifted up several prayers for you and Jim. I do not know you that well but I am praying for you both! Hope he continues to gain strength every day! Bless you both, Angie in SC " The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way. Guest guest
Thank you to all who have sent good wishes to Jim and myself. I am spending most of the day in the hospital with him at the moment. He is still doing very well indeed, walking, eating etc. The oxygen, drips and drains are all out now; only the catheter (with which he will come home anyway) and the epidural remain. The epidural will be taken down gradually over the next few hours as it will be removed tomorrow before he goes out of high dependency and back to his own room. The surgeon and anaesthetist are both very pleased with him. Naturally we are awaiting the histology results with some considerable nervousness but the signs seem positive at the moment. I WILL get back to reading all posts properly and doing my bit to support those with CP; I have neglected this recently but I know you understand why. Love to all, Fliss (UK)
Guest guest
Hi Bev, I just wanted to introduce my self to you as one fellow aussie to another. I am originally from Sydney, moved to Adelaide when I was 10, at 29 moved to QLD (gold coast) then back down to Sydney. My last year in australia, I moved back to Adelaide 1998 was when I first started getting pancreatitis. I then met my husband and moved over to the USA where I have been for 5 1/2 years now. I don't recall having met any other aussies on this site as yet but it is good to meet you. Regards, Ward PAI Administration Support Staff dceward@... Guest guest
Hi! it is good to meet you as well. I live in Marsden, I don't know if you know where that is. I have lived in Queensland all my life. I have had Pancreatitis since I was 16 years of age. I have Diabetes now because of it. It is the worst illness anyone could have and I am sorry you suffer from it as well. It is great to hear from another aussie, you have made my day. I wish you the very best for the future. Regards Bev. dcward108 wrote: Hi Bev, I just wanted to introduce my self to you as one fellow aussie to another.
