Guest guest
Hello all, I belonged to this group a couple years ago, when we tried SCD with my son, 11, who has OCD/Tourette's. He made significant improvement on the diet, and then we switched to using Houston's digestive enzymes. We recently began seeing a local allergist/immunologist who works with children, and had my son's blood and urine tested. He has tested as allergic/sensitive to many foods, but in particular we cannot have eggs, dairy, gluten, tomato, cane sugar, honey, peanuts, apples, soy, oranges, bananas. Finding recipes for desserts that does not contain one of the above is very hard!! If anyone knows of a recipe book that does not contain one of these ingredients, I'd appreciate it. He can have rice, almonds, cashews and xylitol. Thank you!

Allergy to apples, banans and tomato suggests Latex Allergy. Was your son tested for it? Also cashew is one of the more difficult nuts to digest. is that the only nut allowed? SCD does not allow any gluten or cane sugar or soy as well. Your best bet is to look up SCDrecipes in Google search engine. Sorry but I am not knowledgible on enzymes. Carol F.
