Guest guest
Dear Anyse, there is not much one can do or say when someone is so very down as you are. I say this, because I too, am experiencing quite a bit of the same feelings recently. Some of it is the illness itself, it does affect hormones & some of it may be attributed to both our restricted lifestyle and even our pain killers. I have had this cp for many years and have only recently started the depression & crying & isolation. I have few people around me anyway, a husband who works alot, no family in town, and close friends that are all out of town because I moved away about 15 years ago. Big mistake. I see that most of the people I read about on this site that are doing well emotionally have a close caring network of friends & family, which is so important. I do not, and I've tried to focus on things that make me happy, like my cats, music & even my houseplants. Not a lot of people care to understand about what our lives are like with this disease & I am tired of having to defend my not being able to participate for one reason or another. I hope this will soon pass in your life & that u can find something that makes your life worthwhile & fun, because I believe that is the key. Mother Nature supplies this for me (just watching the birds) & trying to live in the present, one day at a time, one moment at a time & thinking about the positive things in your life, and not the negative. There are no easy answers, but only time can heal. I wish you well, sincerely Glentzes
