Pimple Like Rash on Bottom

Someone recently made mention of a pimple like rash on their child's

bottom. Can someone describe this further, and explain the

implications? My son frequently has 5-6 little pimples on his butt

cheeks. His anus also itches, although significantly less since he has

been SCD (9 mos).

I'm wondering about this rash on the bottom, too. We started giving iel

natural antifungals about two to three weeks ago. I noticed on Wed. night

during his bath that he has a little rash on his bottom. We saw his DAN

yesterday for something else, and I asked her to look at it. She thought it

looked pretty much like your typical diaper rash, and thought I should first try

a diaper cream. If that doesn't work, she said to call her. It's on his cheeks

as well as between his legs right up near his scrotum. I haven't noticed it

around his anus. Does anyone with experience think this might be a die off

rash, or should I just treat it as diaper rash. I just don't know how it could

be diaper rash as he is completely potty trained. Yes, the weather has gotten

warmer, and I at first wondered if it was simply from having underwear perhaps

not loose enough that causes a rash from heat. That doesn't explain it being on

the butt cheeks though. Any thoughts?
