i'd like to try john's pizza recipe #2, which calls for 1/2 C almond

flour. at this point, i'm not sure if almonds work for us, but pecans

and walnuts do. however, we're still doing nut butters, not flour yet.

does it work with nut butter instead of flour? i really want to find

savory recipes that use nuts (but no dairy), since i feel nuts

provide important nutrients, but we don't tolerate honey yet so

sweets are mostly out.

thanks

Silvia, there are ways to make pizza like dishes. I have used an egg pancake

insteadof

crust and I have laos stuffed a large browned Portobello mushroom with pizza

toppings

and baked it. You can make a crust with other nut flours.
