Guest guest
Hi All, My husband has suffered from Agent Orange Diabeties and subsequent Peripheral Neuropathy. Several years ago he was bedridden for a week and could only return to work in a wheelchair. He was told by his doctors he was dying and there was nothing that could be done except to medicate with pain meds (narcotics like morphine and percocet.) After talking to Mark, I wrote to Dr. Hayden about my husband's case. He recommended Cymbalta, a new drug, that is used for depression and neuropathic pain. It can take up to 6 weeks to see an improvement in pain but sleep patterns and moods change and improve almost within days. After witnessing the overall improvement in my husband, I can simply say if you have peripheral neuropathy pain and disability contact your doc and ask him to try Cymbalta.
