Hi listmates,

I found this nugget from Elaine about bifidum bacteria and why it may

be problematic.

You hit the nail on the head:

<<<Probiotics can be started very early. Elaine might disagree, but all

of the research I have done says that bifidum bacteria is extremely

important for babies - it naturally leaves the body as infants age.>>>

Celiac researchers felt that persistence of bifidis into later years

was associated with celiac.

That is one reason, I think probiotics with bifidis is unwise for older

children and adults. "

Hi Sheila,

How do you get into Lyris? It asks for an email address when I clicked to it.

Thanks!
