I can't help you re the feeding tube . I was on TPN for a few

months, but that was through my central line, and was over a 24 hour

feeding timeframe, and I was in hospital all that time. (3 months)

It might be possible that they are looking at the bigger picture

regarding your weight loss, that you have lost 22lbs since January,

and if it keeps to that rate, you will be underweight soon. It's not

as if you are dieting and will stop once you get to your desired

weight. That's just my guess though.
