Hi

Mine has been removed. But I did go back to work with it in...

I had Jtubes in the same place each time. I have had a total of 3

for months at a time

I seemed also to get a lot of spillage for it, and I am giggling now

with it popping :) I also got a lot of infections sort of localised

and it was annoying. I used topical antibiotics and there is also a

cotton pa you can make them that I inserted under it each day it was

sort of like a washer is eg cut in onside a square and inserted

around it . It sure did help with the annoyin rash and that helped a

lot just made out of cotton gauze.

I do have a funny story though which you can picture. After my third

tube, I stopped using it eg and was back eating and it was there as

a standby much to my annoyance for 2 more months. I had watched the

specialist take the last one out, so I figure dI could whip it out.

her just pulled it and out it came. Well I gave it a few yanks like

he did and no go so I would have to wait 2 weeks until I saw hi.

What I didnt work out was that my arm wasnt long enough to pull it

out by myself and I didnt admit to tryin to do it.

Thinkign back its quite comical I gave it quite a few goes, I didnt

realise how long it was :)

Have you got it in permanently?

I have thought of going back to it as a means of controlling pain, I

just havent worked out whether i can cope without eating again. I

did like 4 month stretches and I wasnt hungry at all

I could never get the flow up to the maximum speed other wise it

would go straight through, I only got it up to 1000 calories a day

and that was hard enough.
