Guest guest
If I freeze yogurt and it loses probiotic properties, can I give my son more than what he has worked up to? He loves it, and will try many more foods if I use yogurt or " cheese " on it. Freezing shouldn't have any effect on the enzymes present in the SCD yogurt and will not have any effect on minerals like calcium etc.. If your son is still pretty sensitive bowel-wise, slowly increase the amount of SCD frozen yogurt, don't make a big increase all at once. This should prevent a reaction to the increased yogurt enzymes and minerals etc. Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23 yrs mom of and
