OT: another dehydrator question

We have no place to keep this huge thing in our kitchen---or anywhere

else in our little house.

Is it going to be a problem having it out in our attached garage? Will

the really cold garage in the winter time affect the heating going on

inside the dehydrator??

Perhaps my dehydrator questions are off topic. If they are, please

forgive me for taking up space on the list about it. If someone wanted

to write me privately, that would be just fine.

My parents often use their dehydrater out on their front porch at various times

of year...usually when making garlic powder for my son because they don't want

to have their house periated with garlic for days and days. In the summer, and

winter, it sometimes changes the drying time due to the more extreme heat or

cold, but it doesn't damage the unit.
