Guest guest
Hi I need advice please, My 7 yr old has been strict scd for 5 months and he's doing well but I still can't give him fruit. He won't eat fruit and gags if it goes near his mouth so I've tried sneaking it into other foods but every time I try he goes very hyper and regresses. I made banana bread, pear sauce, apple sauce and he reacted to those even though they are the most tolerated by other children, I have not even looked at the advanced fruits. Why is this happening? Luckily he likes veggies and seems fine with them but he takes a packed lunch to school and cooked veggies are not practical to send. His poops are great and the fruit doesn't give him the runs but he just goes red in the face and can't keep still after eating them. I'd be grateful for any advice.
