Guest guest
Chrissy! Thanks for the tip about putting those stockings on Jim! You nurses obviously know what you're doing....I had a similar tip from Sue to- day. He's having a shower tomorrow morning so I'll test it out. I am horribly out of touch at the moment but I won't stop visiting the board and posting from time to time because I do want to come back properly! It's only recent circumstances which have made it less possible for me to spend as much time as I used to on perusing the board and replying. I also use the Prostate Cancer Charity board as well, so that also takes up precious time. It has been important recently as you can imagine. BTW, I am also just about still learning the piano! I think an hour's practice at my age probably equals ten minutes of a child's practice....SLOW is me! As I'm at home this week with Jim (not going into school) I may get some time to catch up with all your news. In the meantime, love and warm wishes to all my friends who share the pancreatitis nasties with me. My wish would be that you are all at your best just now. Guest guest
I hope the tips on the TEDs help Fliss, Sue told you the same thing huh, well great minds do think alike..*L*. Just be sure to bug the dickens out of Jim about those muscle exercises, I will make a huge difference. I'm glad ya'll are getting out some. I tried to learn how to play the piano about 10 years ago. The children were still small then and I lacked the ability to concentrate on it. I have a very nice electric keyboard, or should I say " had " Tommy has taken it upstairs. He is very musically inclined and was taking guitar lessons since he was 6 years old. He plays beautifully, but hasn't taken any lessons in about a year. It was too difficult for me to get him there. Maybe I will take it up again, you have inspired me. Take care and give my best to Jim. Let me know if there is any more 'tips' I can offer. Warmly, Christien
