Guest guest
Dear Angie, A few years back my dad had some sinus problems. As usual he was having a problem, with a sinus condition and took his usual Benadryl that usually took care of the problem. After taking the Benadryl a short while later he passed out standing at the kitchen sink. I took him to the hospital and found out that the Benadryl he took caused a problem with his regular medication. I'm not saying taking Benadryl would not help, and I certainly would not assume to know more than . To me I think she is one of the best advisors on this board and has helped me out with a number of questions, and problems I've had. I think of as one of our guardian angels. She is right the beadryl will make you drowsy. All I mean is check with your doctor or pharmacist about taking anything OTC to make sure it will not conflict with your other medications. Sometimes even doctors can make mistakes. About 2yrs ago the doctor put me on Ultram a new pain med. on the market and I took it with the Phenergan I was on for years. I had 2 episodes of seizures and had to see a neurologist and found out that taking the two drugs together had caused the seizures. I'm no longer taking the Ultram but I still have to take medication to keep me from having any more seizure episodes. Just to be safe now I always check with my doctor and my pharmacist to make sure. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better soon. LOL, Janet
