Guest guest
Does anyone know how much Danon to add as a starter. I made SCD yogurt for the first time and my son said it was runny and sour compared with Danon.

Guest guest
Hi " littleengine8 " , For each quart or liter of milk you need 1/4 cup of " good quality commercial yogurt " (BTVC p157). So for 2 quarts/2 liters you'd use 1/2 Cup yogurt etc... Only Danon's plain & natural yogurt is good to use as yog starter. You can drip yogurt to make it thicker. see: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/beginners_guide/yoghurt/dripping _yoghurt.htm Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23yrs mom of and << Does anyone know how much Danon to add as a starter.
