Can anyone tell me of a pharmacy that compounds things like B complex in

transdermal, DMPS, MB12 injections, ect. that will accept Medicaid? We are in

North Carolina, and I haven't found a pharmacy in state that will accept the

Medicaid, and compound the meds. Nor have I found an out-of-state pharmacy the

will accept NC Medicaid, and can compound the meds. Please help if you can.

Are all of these compoudnign pharmacies that are familiar with SCd, and the RXs

that are commonly used for kids on the autism spectrum? I am familiar with a

couple of these pharmacies, but they do not accept Medicaid. Perhaps some of

the others on the list do accept it, but are they familiar with compounding RXs

like DMPS, MB12, ALA, NAC, ect.?

They don't. They were one of the first I called when my son's Medicaid was

approved. It actually makes me mad that none of these compounding pharmacies

who do know how to make this stuff for the kids are willing to take Medicaid.

They talk about how much they want to help these kids, but it's obviously only

the ones whose parents have hundreds of dollars a month to spend. We've been

doing that for eight months now, and we're out of money. We're about at the

point of having to sell our house if we want to continue his therapies and

treatments.
