My problem is my BSL drops dramatically if I try to go without carbs or sugar. I know we can drink juice after the MGB but I think almost everyone says they stay away from orange juice, which helps bring it up. I was curious as to how anyone who has a problem with it is able to maintain a healthy level. You had the rny? What made you decide to go with that surgery, if you don't mind me asking? Keep up the good work. Pat

Guest guest
HI , I am pre-op, hoping to be a post-op after the holidays. I've recently had 2 surgeries, due to kidney stones, and Dr. R. says that I have to wait 3 months from my last surgery. Dec. 7th I'm going in again ot have the stint removed. I've completed the pt. letter, contacts form, and sent in the pt. medical form also. He requires so much, I was trying to get this all done by Dec. 1st so I wouldn't have to go for the pych. eval. Guess that's not going to happen either because there's more to the packet that what I thought. Where did you have your surgery? Do you live in NC? You must be so happy that the surgery is behind you and you can concentrate on starting your new life. Sounds so good......... Pat
