Play doe and shampoo with wheat

Hi,

My son has been on SCD since 2/14/2007 and just for the past week has

had perfect BM's for the first time in his life. Well, on Thursday he

played with Play doe at daycare and I am willing to bet he at least

licked it. Play doe has wheat in it. Then this morning he got into my

shampoo and conditioner and dumped it into the tub. I looked at the

ingredients of the shampoo and conditioner and it had wheat in it and

extract of cane sugar, and maple extract. I am certain that he

swallowed some of the water, maybe a lot. He has a rash all over his

body.

Since the bath happened this morning, do you think if I gave him some

activated charcoal it might help with some of the side effects that I

am seeing and am sure are to come? Any other suggestions will help.

Yes, give him some activated charcoal. You could also try an epsin salt bath, a

baking soda bath, and a dusting of baking soda in his drink.
