allergic reaction or is this normal for PC?

When I have had a drink of alcohol, wine whatever I get very hot and

my face and neck get very red. It starts around my eyes and spreads

lasts about 15 minutes or so. Does this sound like an allergic

reaction or PC related? I do not drink much. I did a lot in high

school and never had a problem then as I have gotten older a couple

glasses of wine a year maybe. But the last couple of years whenever I

drink anything with alcohol I get this.

It sounds very much like an allergy. I've known several people who have

developed

allergies to alcohol or certain food products in their adulthood, and their

symptoms

were very similar.

If you have chronic pancreatitis, you might consider this " allergy " as a warning

to

stop. You should not be drinking ANY alcoholic beverages at all, at any time.

Certainly your doctors have told you this, and now your body is reinforcing what

the

doctors have recommended. It's time to stop all together.

Let me blunt here when I say this and I don't want to upset you or anyone

else on the group. If you drink alcohol you are going to die....It is going

to kill you.....Period...there are no buts or ifs or I only's ...it is a

done deal.....so what you have to do it just not do it.....I know that we

have some alcoholics in the group that have beat drinking and I am sure they

can give you some amazing advice. If you need to talk to someone, let me
