Guest guest
Hi Everyone - I don't often post, but when I saw the notes about the airline seat belts not fitting, I could sure relate. I can still get mine fastened, but barely, and if the plane were to take a nose dive, my belt's so tight, I'd be dead before the plane hit the ground! To avoid embarrassment, I've looked into buying my own extender and found a site if anyone is interested... www.ifisher.com/getairlinebelts.htm They are expensive, but might be worth it--I've had enough embarrassing moments to last me a lifetime! (However, I'm sure not above taking one if the opportunity arises - and would gleefully return it after I 'outgrow' it!) All you skinny post-ops, please ignore this e-mail, but thought all of us pre-ops that are waiting to be 'reborn', might find this information helpful! Also, on another subject, does anyone have a schedule for the Durham support meetings? I'd like to know when the December monthly meeting is being held. Many thanks for all the GREAT information you've allowed me have access to and also for making me feel more 'normal'. Because of you guys, I don't feel so all alone when struggling with the way I feel about my weight--something I haven't felt in years.
