Guest guest
HELLO EVERYONE, I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU POST-OPS HAD TROUBLE WITH CATCHING COLDS OFTEN? I AM A PRE-OP WHO OFTEN HAS AS MANY AS 7 OR MORE COLDS THROUGH THE FALL AND WINTER MONTHS. I WAS SCARED TAHT AFTER THE SURGERY THAT IT MAY GET WORSE , BECAUSE OF THE VITAMIN DEFICINTCY ISSUE. I ALREADY TAKE A ONE A DAY MULTI VITAMIN EACH DAY . I KNOW I WILL NEED TO TAKE ABOUT 3 A DAY AFTER SURGERY AND OTHER SUPLEMENTS AS WELL. I WILL DO THAT RELIGOUSLY. SO IF ANY OF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM PLEASE GET IN TOUCH, SO I CAN SEE IF YOU CAUGHT THEM LESS, THE SAME, OR EVEN MORE OFTEN? P. S. I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO BRINGS HOME THE COLD GERM TO ME FROM DAYCARE, THAT MAY BE THE ONLY REASON I CATCH COLDS SO OFTEN. I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. Guest guest
Tina, the way to stop having all those colds is to ditch the 4 year-old! When my kids were little and in day care, I was so sick, so often, thought I wasn't gonna see 30! But, being as how you probably love the little one, second choice is to grin and bear it like all us moms have had to do. The MGb won't affect that, I'd bet, and you won't be malnourished cause you will take your vits and you'll eat well. So, don't worry about that. No one has ever reported more frequent post-op illness in all the months I've been reading. My best to you. PhillyJude
