Guest guest
pecanbread.com has a tortilla and a guacamole recipe. If your child eats cheese, maybe a quesadilla with the tortilla. Taco salad (is that really mexican?), flan or custard made with honey and coconut milk or nut milk (or yogurt?) , mom to > > Hi all, > > Any ideas for a Mexican party? Guest guest
I make a wonderful green chile. I noticed that you are one year out. If you can tolerate the SCD beans this is what I do. I soak black beans 24 hours and then cook the next day till tender with some bacon bits in it. In sperate pan, I brown some hamburger (pork or beef), add cut up tomatoes and chili pepers (mild for kids) and some tomato juice, garlic and onion...salt to taste....cook till it is well seasoned, stirring often. Then serve in a bowel. Add black beans to the bottom, chili on top and SCD safe grated cheese on top while hot so it will melt. Very good! Only one of us can't eat it (having problems still with legumes). But our other kids love it (5 and 2 year old) Antoinette and Family of five (SCD 2/06)
Guest guest
Thank you all for your wonderful replies. Has anyone made the tortilla wrap successfully? Thanks Sue 7 yr old son, SCD 1 yr, no more spaciness
Guest guest
Well, I have made them semi-successfully. I made them pancake style several times and they do sometimes tear. Making them small helps. Maybe experiment with an extra egg? , mom to > > Thank you all for your wonderful replies.
